Dr. Lopez is a board-certified emergency physician and is the current Medical Director for Napa’s Queen of the Valley Emergency Department. He grew up in California’s Central Valley and graduated from Stanford University with a focus on Human Biology. He subsequently attended Harvard Medical School before completing his Emergency Medicine residency training back at Stanford Medical Center. He has been with NVEMG and the Queen of the Valley Hospital since 2009. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Queen of the Valley Foundation. When not at work, Dr. Lopez spends time with his wife, Dr. Caroline Laurent (a Sonoma orthodontist), and his 2 boys, Clark and Bryce. They have lived in Sonoma since 2009 and he enjoys all things outdoors as well as training in mixed martial arts.
