Sonoma Valley Hospital invites the community to attend Wellness University™ classes without cost. The six classes, which begin Wednesday, September 21, are based on a health education program developed for people who want to be wellness ambassadors or teachers, and discuss practices to inspire improved health and make health more contagious.

Topics include assessing your current state of emotional and physical health; finding balance in your life; stress reduction and relaxation techniques; importance of making positive choices; value of exercise and good nutrition; recommended breathing practices; and developing healthy habits.

Hospital instructors include Kelly Mather, CEO; Leslie Lovejoy, Chief Officer of Quality & Resource Management; and Steven Lewis, Wellness Coordinator.

Classes are held from 8:00 to 10:00 am over six Wednesdays. Scheduled dates are September 21, October 5, 19, November 2, 16, and 30. If you plan to attend, please make sure you are available for all classes. While there is no cost to participate, attendance is limited.
