WE ARE YOUR PASSPORT TO HEALTHY TRAVEL

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Occupational Health Department offers a Travel Medicine Program for both work-related travel and for the general public. The program is headed by a member of the International Society of Travel Medicinewho enables us to stay up to date on the latest travel risks and disease information. We also offer adult vaccination for non-travelers.

We follow CDC and WHO guidelines.

Services offered:

Plan ahead: some vaccines may take several weeks to become effective.

  • Destination-specific pre-travel evaluation and counseling
  • Customized travel report
  • The following vaccinations are available:
    • Hepatitis A
    • Hepatitis B
    • Influenza
    • Japanese Encephalitis
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, & Rubella)
    • Meningococcal Vaccine
    • Pneumococcal Vaccine
    • Polio
    • Rabies
    • Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis
    • Typhoid Fever
  • Prescriptions for medications including malaria prevention, altitude sickness prevention and the treatment of traveler’s diarrhea
