Highlights Show Gains in Technology, Leadership, Community Building, Strategic Planning, and More
The community is invited to view the significant gains Sonoma Valley Hospital has made over the past year as documented in its newly released bilingual 2022 Annual Community Report. Hard copies of the report are available from the hospital as well as online through the Sonoma Valley Hospital website at www.sonomavalleyhospital.org.
“The last year has seen Sonoma Valley Hospital take leaps forward in terms of new medical technology, leadership, community building and engagement, partnerships, fiscal security, and strategic planning for the future. I couldn’t be more proud or excited about what we’ve accomplished and what lies ahead,” said CEO John Hennelly.
Highlights of the past year are enumerated in the report, along with the fiscal report for the year, showing Sonoma Valley Hospital emerging from the COVID downturn better positioned strategically to deal with the challenges of being a small community hospital.
SVH also had a great year of building partnerships and collaborations, benefitting the community with clinics, classes, and events (Brown Bag Medication Reviews series and Active Aging Lecture Series for instance). Career development programs with Sonoma Valley High School began during 2022 and SVH looks forward to growing and sustaining this commitment to our future generations.
