Status Update from Sonoma Valley Hospital

Since the emergency began, Sonoma Valley Hospital has continued to provide emergency services around the clock and has met all emergency needs of the community. Outpatient and elective cases will remain canceled through Wednesday with plans for the hospital to be fully operational, and resume outpatient services, on Thursday, October 12.

“We have seen an increase in the number of emergency patients with fire-related conditions in the past 24 hours, and have brought in an additional Emergency Medicine physician to help,” said SVH CEO Kelly Mather.

“Hospital staff has worked to ensure our patients are safe and continue to heal,” Mather said. “I’m proud of the dedication and hard work of our staff during this emergency, many of whom have worked long hours to ensure we are able to provide the needed services to our community.”
