I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1983, with a minor in Psychology. I then continued in the traditional medical model receiving my degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1997. My practice has been primarily Family Practice/Integrative Health and Energy Medicine. I started out as a Reiki Master then went on to discover many other healing- complementary modalities. I also studied Cranial Sacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute, Touch for Health with Dr John Thie who utilizes AK (Applied Kinesiology) working with the 5 Elements of Chinese medicine, and then I completed a 4 year training at the Barbra Brennan School of Healing in Energy healing.
Through my education and experience in western medicine I have built a solid foundation to fully understand and safely integrate the best of traditional and integrative practices. I have a vast skill set and am able to uncover many aspects of the individual, both children and adults. (Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and ancestral) This in order to help bring people back into balance. Each individual unique and many times I utilize a blend of various modalities. I sometimes may suggest and utilize Flower Essences and Nutritional supplements to aid on your healing journey.
